The history of CRAI was born in 1973, when a small group of food retailers decided to join the forces, forming, in Desenzano del Garda, the "Commissionarie Riunite Alta Italia" (C.R.A.I), which soon beacame "Commissionarie Riunite Alimentaristi Italiani".
